UpBlue documentation
What is the UpBlue Platform?
A simple, powerful and flexible industrial cloud platform.
UpBlue collects data from your machines, sensors and systems, stores it securely in the cloud and turns it into insight: live dashboards, production KPIs like OEE and uptime, and alerts when something needs attention. It is built for factories: no programming needed, no changes to your machines, and no open ports in your firewall.
How UpBlue works
- Collect — The UpBlue Collector runs inside your factory network and reads data from your machines over MQTT, OPC UA, Modbus and more. Data from the internet can be collected with a Cloud Connection, without a Collector. Machines without any data connection can be retrofitted with UpBlue Connect hardware.
- Store — Every value is stored in the UpBlue Historian, a time-series database built for machine data, as a tag with labels, so you can always find and filter your data.
- Use — Build dashboards, track production runs with Operations and get notified with Alerts.
